A little something about Dale thele

Born in 1956 and raised in north-central Oklahoma, Dale Thele grew up in the small oil company town of Ponca City. After graduating high school, Dale attended Oklahoma City University. He then traveled west until his southern roots beckoned him back to Dixie. He settled in Austin, Texas in 1984 and it's been his residence ever since.

Dale began writing in 2008, influenced by authors like Timothy James Beck, Mark Kendrick, Michael Thomas Ford, and Bryan Healey. His writing includes several short stories and three novellas, all of which were published fiction and marketed under a pen name.

Today, Dale writes under his own name, penning vignettes of actual life experiences on social network channels like his personal Facebook page. Currently, he is working on his first full length fiction to be entitled: CLIPPED WINGS, a southern coming-of-age novel inspired by actual events of the early 1970's. The works of authors like Harper Lee, Bart Yates, J.D. Salinger, and Stephen Chbosley, influenced the concept of CLIPPED WINGS.
